Prince Charles and his wife Princess Camilla have arrived the presidential wing of the Nnmadi Azikwe International Airport Abuja, Naija News can report.

Upon arrival, the British prince inspected a guard of honour mounted in his honour and also briefly observed a traditional dance performance.
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are also expected to have audience with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa.
“The Prince of Wales will be looking at the causes, talking to people who are working in this area and together, seeing if we can find solutions and move on.”
The Prince, during his visit in the country, is expected to engage in peace-building activities including addressing the farmers – herders clashes.
Naija News understands that the visit is also aimed at strengthening the ties between Nigeria and the Britain as members of the Commonwealth.
Prince Charles took over as the head of the Commonwealth of Nations last April, succeeding his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.

During his time in Nigeria, Prince Charles is expected to also meet with traditional rulers and visit Lagos State where he will be received by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
